Vancery's Messaging feature allows you to receive payments for detailed responses you provide to questions posed to you in the messaging interface, or to make payments to individuals you would like to speak to as an incentive to receive a response.
For Payers
Let's say you have a question that you would like to ask of someone, but don't have any way of getting that person's attention on traditional communication channels. Across many other platforms, this results in low response rates and potentially having to reach out to 10X the number of people to get a response.
On Vancery, with our paid messaging feature, you will be able to quickly identify people you would like to speak with and send them a small payment to engage with them on the platform. This will be billed from your connected credit card on the platform and will be sent to the recipient's connected account.
For Recipients
If you receive a paid message on the platform, that means you are in demand! Any time someone initiates a paid messaging exchange with you, you will be notified via an email or if you have downloaded our mobile app on Android or iOS, as a push notification on your phone.
After opening the application, you will have the ability to accept or reject the message from the sender. If you opt to accept the message, you will be prompted to provide a written response through the messaging tool to the recipient. We recommend providing a thoughtful response to the message you receive to be compensated for your time. Compensation varies based on your individual hourly rate, and payouts are processed monthly for the previous month of activity.
